When you support a Grand Canyon Trust volunteer, you support the environment.
We take people to extraordinary places across the Colorado Plateau to accomplish crucial conservation and restoration projects. Our volunteers come from all over the U.S. and the world — from high schools, colleges, community organizations, and companies — for a unique, hands-on, learning experience many can use in their future career fields.
When you sponsor our volunteers, you support Colorado Plateau preservation through citizen-driven science.
The Grand Canyon Trust’s Volunteer Program fosters conservation
Every year, our volunteers collectively contribute more than 14,000 hours toward conservation and restoration projects on public lands across the Colorado Plateau — the equivalent of seven full-time positions. Participants learn the value of conserving places with a science-based approach, an experience that encourages them to become conservation stewards in their own communities.
