Group Volunteer trip on the south rim: april 24-25, 2010

Overview

Please join us on the South Rim to help assist Vegetation Program staff in the 2009-2010 Visitor Center and Mather Point Revegetation Project. All work will be conducted around scenic Mather Point with breathtaking views of Bright Angel Creek and Zoroaster Temple . We will be restoring native vegetation in areas impacted by construction and road realignment. Vegetation Program staff will present an orientation to Grand Canyon National Park and its native vegetation communities while you are here. Come for a weekend at the South Rim and contribute to the health and beauty of the stunning Grand Canyon by protecting and preserving this invaluable natural resource for future generations.
